Description: An older woman who wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a brown coat, she is not a threatening figure. She has no fur. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Shifting's homeland. Shifting decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: He is a mite stocky and is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Ploughman. His auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Gifted from a young age, Fivin studied abroad. Fivin liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Gimgen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.
