Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. The war was a terrible time for her, and Paela does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Mortician. She's also a talented Weaver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and balancing her hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent father

His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Barrister. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now mingles about in high society.
