History: Helen lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Stylist. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stylist.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Animal Trainer born in the past three hundred years. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Tricking hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her childhood dream was to be a Sculptor, but she was a colossal failure. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
