The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Oren never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. A freak accident while working with his Marshal father left him crippled. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
