History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Xappan liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Gardener for the past few years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and a rival would like him out of the picture
