During his travels, Akmen and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Akmen discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Akmen fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
