History: He was born in the north. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Servant arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Shifting was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Ulblyn is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
