History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length white hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Astar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gifted from a young age, Shivering studied abroad. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed.
