Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and seeks redemption

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She has wavy black hair. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. A friendly and beautiful Elf, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: Malquis was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she has money and likes to spend it
