Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alston fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
