Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Baern hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He struck the Adventurer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and retire the richest woman in the north
