History: Alain hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spy. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants to get laid

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
