Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. A true patriot, Eloise would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Eloise was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
