Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She got into the Tanner business at a young age. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'6" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a tan coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a broad hat upon his head. He has a very tight haircut. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He's also a talented Servant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His white hair, when down, is lengthy. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He takes great joy in being the best Tanner in town.

History: Born in the west to a Tanner, John learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Barrister, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to work out more often
