Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Valorean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with pastel lining and desert motifs. He carries with him a set of morningstars, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He wears a colorful flower in his cinnamon fur. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Shadow was born with his father's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After months of barely getting by, Shadow managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
