History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. After coming to the age of reason, Nikki took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. After a long history of fighting, Nikki and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cumpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
