History: Gifted from a young age, Rurik studied abroad. A gifted student he started as a Slave Trader, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Carlin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Carlin never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
