History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

After coming to the age of reason, Veloptima took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: A middle-aged man, he is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering his clean studded leather, and is pretty ugly. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Masseuse. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
