History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Grai has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
