Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: This younger middle-aged man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cory embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cory studied abroad. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He takes great joy in being the best Butcher in town.

History: Alex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His childhood dream was to be a Mortician, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with music. She constantly tries to fill her life with music. The war was a terrible time for her, and Lone does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.
