History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Adventurer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Xanaphia was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Adventurer and was forced into it by her family; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
