He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is an amazing painter.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
