History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Alain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Rathkran is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Rathkran was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Rathkran's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
