History: Gifted from a young age, Chaedi studied abroad. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Adrik was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adrik's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
