History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
