History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has never given up on her music dream.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When Jasmine reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

History: Born in the south to a Bookbinder, Ranala learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.
