History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Kilvar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He tends to his Assassin job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Assassin responsibilities is difficult; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is an amazing painter.

History: Mara lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and to reunite with her absent father
