History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Engraver father left him crippled. Being a Barber kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: Varis hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
