History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
