Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Herleva was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Herleva and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has achieved small success as a Carter.

Motivation: She is greedy; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is a husky man, who wears an entirely grey suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He wears his white hair up. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Animal Trainer responsibilities is difficult; and wants to raise his children well

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her hair is long and silver with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small red clips. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Wella embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.
