History: Born to a Barrister, his father struggled to pay the bills. After coming to the age of reason, Roland took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.
