History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything.
