History: Gifted from a young age, Mella studied abroad. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Carpenter, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He became a Stableman soon after.
