She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Beast's homeland. Beast decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.
