Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears violet painted combat armor at almost all times. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His ears are large.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. Her golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Detective, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

Personality: She is a Laborer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has achieved small success as a Laborer.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and balancing her hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and money/treasure
