History: The child of a Miller, who enjoyed hunting, Matilda was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Matilda took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor she uses now. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Korfel is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Mason, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zanna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
