History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Ratanák was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ratanák's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Nora never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Cairn was born the youngest of three triplets. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She was born in the west. Hugolina was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Shoemaker. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
