Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Verin and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

Description: He wears a yellow tunic with white highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes, and he perpetually has his club ready. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Vanuath abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Gardener. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Halander is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
