History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. During her travels, Mastema and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Mastema discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Mastema fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
