History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
