His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears a brown shirt, with a grey mid length skirt with grey tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. She is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around her ears. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Agnes is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the north to a Blacksmith, Agnes learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miner. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and sabotage a competitor
