History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Beatrice has worked very hard to control her curse. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Whurbin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He got into the Mortician business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Loopmottin was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Carter. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and half-elven compassion
