Personality: She is fixated on the number 98. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and dwarven compassion

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Nicholas liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Varis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His green eyes peer out from beneath his feathered grey hat.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
