History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.
