He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Tana hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and someone believes her a fraud

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Courier and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: She is a mite stocky and wears baggy violet pantaloons and a brown scarf. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Giselle is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: The child of a Barrister, who enjoyed hunting, Giselle was taken on many hunting expeditions. Giselle liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
