History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Borun was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She has all her life been fascinated with music.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
