History: Rurik was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

After coming to the age of reason, Bucklal took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
