Personality: Donaar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Donaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Mugrunden enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Mugrunden reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Mugrunden and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has achieved small success as a Butcher.
