History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
