Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her greatsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. Her hair is red and curly. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Mason. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Barbena lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Mason, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is cut close to his head. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. A friendly and beautiful Elf, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Sora liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now mingles about in high society.
